August 3, 2009 August 7-8 Signing Update
Due to room availability, Joyce will probably begin signing shortly after 3 pm on Friday at the Westin. (As soon as her room is open, the signs on the boards will go up, in case she can start earlier.) If you can't make it during the day on Friday/Saturday, be sure to stop by during room hopping after the dinner!

Joyce will have a room open at the Westin hotel during the Hallmark Memories for the Making event.
Please bring your Hallmark ornaments from home to be signed or your great deals from room hopping! Joyce will also have her AngelWorksArt collection there!
Signs will be posted in the hotels as to the exact room location. She will also be signing during Room Hopping hours.

Joyce will be signing at this weeend's Hooked On Hallmark Warehouse Sale in Kansas City! She will be offering a special repainted, limited edition of her Seashell Santas "Jolly Santa" ornament.
The production size is limited to 35, and each is numbered.

Contest Winner
Joyce is happy to present Ginger Gibeson, of Kansas City, Missouri, with her prize for winning the "Name Mrs. Frost" contest, recently finished.
Ginger's entry of "Crystal" was the first of four who entered that name.

Thanks to all of you who shared names for Mrs. Frost with us in the contest that ended Sunday. The names were many and varied, and many showed great imagination, and we enjoyed them all. We hope that each of you will share pleasure in the knowledge that your efforts helped us select what we felt to be the most appropriate name. For those of you whose suggestion was not used, we are sorry that we couldn't use them all.

Finally, we have received word that the June 2008 ornaments will arrive this week! We will begin shipping to those who pre-ordered at Flamingo Fling or at the Hooked on Hallmark Spring Wharehouse Sale this weekend and plan to have that completed by the end of the month.
Joyce has also filmed a new video about her upcoming Serenity Angel ornament, which will be released in June. (Each AngelWorksArt piece has a short video on it's page from Joyce.)
Joyce donated three pieces: an original miniature nativity which Hallmark used for a photo session; a Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer angel whitebody; and a repaint of the the upcoming AngelWorksArt Serenity angel in pale pink.
Additionally, based on a percentage of sales at the AngelWorksArt booth during the Saturday show, an additional $165 was donated.
